Laura E. Ram­sey   Sax­o­phone & Clar­inet Instructor

 

Laura holds a BA in Musi­cal Per­for­mance with a minor in Music Busi­ness from Berklee Col­lege of Music. While her main instru­ment is alto sax­o­phone, she teaches all other sax­o­phones as well as clar­inet. She has stud­ied these instru­ments for 20 years, played pro­fes­sion­ally for 15 years and given pri­vate instruc­tion for the last 6 years. Ms. Ramsey’s instruc­tion focuses on the devel­op­ment of tech­ni­cal skills and musi­cian­ship from prac­tice through per­for­mance. She spe­cial­izes in both clas­si­cal reper­toire, and jazz the­ory and improvisation.
